Are those paired feathers or antennae that come out from behind the eyes? |

Considering the size of these creatures I'm surprised I haven't stumbled upon one. But, I haven't. /sigh
I'm hoping that if I start hanging around the society maybe some of those good zoological vibes will rub off. Having an expertise in temporal physics does me know good when it comes to this kind of study.
I have always had a strong love for animals and I anxiously await my first glimpse. _________________ -Professor Askew- |

I hear urwin all around my pod during the "day" hours. The sound is like a sheep's bleat, almost two-toned, hightolow. Can anybody confirm that I'm hearing the right thing? The only reason I saw one of these guys at all was I heard it really loud and happened to look around. I've been trying to mark when their calls are most frequent. It seems like the "noon" time is the busiest. _________________ ______________________

I can't recall the actual sound enough to write it out, but I did have an Urwin sighting yesterday at about 18:20 KI time (Negilahn time conversion is still beyond me). I had "Button 3" pressed, which for me is the third to the left when facing the controls. It always sounded like a bird call to me, other than that - I got no science to give you. Oh, and I saw it out of the second floor window. Managed a shot before it headed back into the jungle, too!

I'm sure that you all will laugh upon reading this, but I still have yet to see one Urwin (or anything else for that matter) in Negilahn. Is this just bad luck on my part, or have Urwin sightings diminished as a whole? I know all about the Bahro killings, but I thought Urwins were still being sighted?
(Personally, I think they just hate me because I ventured to name them
Chickenavis Invisibilitus. Appropriate, no? Apparently the birds
disagreed.)
Oh, and another thing concerning Urwins: These things reputedly travel in pairs, right? Has anyone seen two at once?
(Edit) Another month later - No Urwin. _________________ Am I not Urwinny enough for the Urwin club?
