A suggestion. the bush-like "grass" could be a form of Equisetum (deliniensis).
I have pics, but I'm sorry, don't know how to work with the wiki yet. |

Grasses again I've looked at the grasses again and have a thought about the light green one - the whole shape of it reminds of a lily! I can't see any joints on the stem, which grasses have f.e.. But of course grasses is easiest to determine when they bloom and here they don't
Otherwise it could be a Juncaceae or Cyperaceae.
The "cattail" I presume is a form of Typha. |

If we follow the naming-style for the Tsogal Cattail, (and why shouldn't we? It's a common way amongst humans to name things due to their resemblance to other things ) I suggest we rename it to "Eder Cattail" since it have been found in Eder Kemo as well, call Grass 1 "Tsogal Stargrass"( no one have reported this grass from another age), Grass 2 "Tsogal Lilygrass", and Grass 3 "Eder Bushgrass" ,of the same reason as above, and Grass 4 "Tsogal Cliffgrass".
This "cliffgrass" haven't the typical signs of a graminaea- f e that leaves form a sheath around the stem. It's much more like an equisetum to me, but looking at it from the ground it looks like a grass-tuft . Naming it Cliffgrass would therefore be logical -se above. |

The naming of the grasses in Tsogal have been bothering me, so I was so glad when a fellow explorer spontanously said "That is Carex, both of them" Studying them a bit more , he came out with "Silver Spike Sedge" for that grass with lightgreen leaves, and "Palm Sedge" for that bushy grass. Searching for pics out there gave me these two:
This is Gray's Sedge, Carex grayi - could not find a pic on "Silver Spike Sedge"
This is Palm Sedge, Carex muskingumensis
I think the grasses in Tsogal need proper names instead of numbers now so what do you think of it?
