The Kamkenta is a flying ray-like creature indigenous to the age of Kahlo. It lives in large hives, rather like a social insect.
The name "Kamkenta" is loosely derived from the D'ni kam ken tah, literally translated "I am what it". A more grammatical translation would have been kam kenen (literally "What is it?"), but "Kamkenta" has stuck.
[edit] Relation to The Dereno Ray
It is believed to be related to the Dereno Ray, because of their almost identical appearance. Such a relation has not yet been proven, however.
